The SW England Fishing Safety Forum exists to bring fishing stakeholders together to address safety issues and discuss other issues relevant to the catching sector in the SW. 

There is an open invitation to all SW commercial fishermen to attend meetings and submit ideas. If you want to submit an idea to the group then please contact us on 07518 308668 or 07876 035738.

The MCA have produced a single document that lists all the help available to commercial fishermen, it can be found here.

The MCA have also relaxed the rules on basic safety training for new and recent entrants to the commercial fishing industry, this can be found here.
